Membership in New Zealand Glass Bead Artists is open to anyone. The NZGBA is funded by membership fees, fundraising and donations, and is run by voluntary elected officers. This allows us to have the resources to develop communications and networking support for New Zealand glass beadmakers.
Benefits of becoming a member
Bead’nz: A quarterly newsletter including tips and techniques from master beadmakers, discussing everything from marketing your work to studio safety.
Members Directory: An online listing of NZGBA members including a description of their work and website link.
Education Programs: Early bird notification of workshops, seminars and exhibitions around the country.
Annual Gathering: Free attendance to the NZGBA gathering that runs alongside the Annual General Meeting. This event coincides with the NZGBA Members Show, Sponsored Annual Bead Competition, Silent Bead Auction, Bead Raffle and a series of workshops and seminars.
Gathering Scholarship: A $100 scholarship to help pay for travel expenses to the NZGBA Gathering.
Bead Bazzar: Participation in the NZGBA table at the ISGB Gathering Bead Bazaar in the United States. The Bead Bazaar is a wonderful opportunity to sell your beads and finished jewellery.
Postcard Project: Annual postcard showcasing the work of NZGBA members, sent to the ISGB Gathering in the United States as well as galleries in New Zealand and Australia. NB you must be an individual member of ISGB to participate
Annie Rose Bead Fair: The bead fair is a showcase for NZGBA members to sell, trade and advertise their beads.
Exhibitions: The opportunity to participate in national and international exhibitions.

Individual Membership: $35
Family Membership: $50
Student Membership: $25
Business Membership: $100
