What is the monthly challenge? 

On the first of the month I will set a challenge - the challenge could be anything from a theme, specific colours, sets, organic and so on.  The idea is to challenge yourself and maybe try something outside your niche and of course have fun!  So make some beads that met the Challenge criteria, take some photos.

Post your bead photos on the NZGBA website - you then get your name entered into the draw to win a prize at the end of the month (drawn randomly out of a hat!).

To give everyone a chance to enter, even if they don’t have much beadmaking time!  1 photo = 1 entry, 2 or more photos = 2 entries max.

NOTE:  The challenge is open to NZGBA members ONLY.

Each member will need to start their own thread so they can upload photos. Please make your thread title “February Challenge – your name” and add to the “Showcase – 2011 February Challenge” section.

Welcome to the April Monthly Challenge….

This month the challenge is: “New Technique”

In preparation for the Annual Beads competition where the winning vote is Avante Garde, ANYTHING GOES so long as you are trying a new technique and putting a spin on an old technique…  Any interpretation is welcome!!
